Spraggs Law is looking for a Business Development and Client Intake Specialist who is passionate about providing an exceptional first impression while developing relationships throughout the local business community. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with sales, client service, or business development experience who aspires to grow into an Account Executive role.

Reports To: Managing Director, Spraggs Law

Location: Coquitlam, BC

Position: Full-Time, In Office

Compensation: $55,000 - $60,000/year

What You'll Do

Be the First Point of Contact

• Respond to inbound inquiries from businesses and individuals seeking legal services.
• Ask thoughtful questions to understand each client's needs.
• Gather key information and coordinate consultations with the appropriate lawyer as quickly as possible.
• Ensure every prospective client receives a professional, responsive, and welcoming experience from their very first interaction.

Build Professional Relationships

• Develop and maintain relationships with professionals who regularly work with small and medium-sized businesses, including:
• Realtors
• Accountants
• HR professionals
• Other community referral partners
• Stay connected with referral partners through regular follow-up and relationship management.
• Attend networking events and business functions to represent Spraggs Law and expand the firm's professional network.
• Maintain an organized pipeline of referral partners and prospective clients.

Support Business Growth

• Track referrals, client inquiries, and consultation bookings within the firm's CRM.
• Work closely with the Managing Director to ensure new opportunities are followed up on promptly.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen referral relationships and improve the client experience.

We're Looking For Someone Who

• Has 2+ years of experience in sales, client service, account coordination, business development, or another relationship-focused role.
• Enjoys meeting new people and building long-term professional relationships.
• Is confident speaking with business owners and professionals.
• Is highly organized and able to manage multiple conversations and follow-ups simultaneously.
• Communicates professionally both in person, in writing, and over the phone.
• Is motivated by helping clients and creating positive experiences.
• Is interested in growing a career in relationship management, sales, or account management.
