The Transport Refrigeration Technician is responsible for diagnostics, repair, installation, and maintenance of refrigeration systems on trucks, trailers, and containers. This is a hands‑on, physically demanding role suited for mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy troubleshooting and working in the field.

• Truck/trailer refrigeration units (reefers)
• HVAC and AC systems
• Container refrigeration units and gensets
• Perform installations of reefer units
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Ensure all work meets company standards
• Provide strong customer service on-site
• Participate in on‑call rotation (mobile techs)

• Open to multiple Red Seal trades OR relevant experience, including:
  Transport Refrigeration (Reefer) Technician (no formal Red Seal required if experienced)
• Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Red Seal
• Automotive Service Technician Red Seal
• Diesel Engine Technician Red Seal
• Commercial Transport Technician Red Seal

Note: Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability can outweigh exact trade background.

Salary/Rate Range: $42.04/hr – $46.49/hr + $5.03/hr pension (typical starting level for Red Seal)
