Hoist Operator – Onni
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Hoist Operator to join our team  this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining hoisting machinery to safely and efficiently move heavy loads. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of hoisting procedures and safety protocols, and be able to effectively communicate and coordinate with team members to ensure an efficient workflow.

This position reports directly to the Site Superintendent.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the safe operation of hoist/elevator to transport employees to various floors

Conduct daily pre/post inspections of hoist

Perform light general labor duties such as sweeping the hoist deck and ensuring it is free of materials at shift end

Organize deliveries and clean/loader garbage from skip units

Notify foreperson before garbage bins are full and ready for call out

Manage temporary labor cleaning garbage

Troubleshoot hoist gate contacts and hoist problems

Be flexible with break times and wear required ear protection per WSBC requirements

Replace hoist loading deck safety handrails after deliveries

Perform any other duties assigned by the manager

Qualifications

Hold a valid Hoist Ticket

Able to perform well in high-demand situations

Wear hard hat, vest and steel-toe boots

Salary Range
USD 25,000–27,000 per year
