General Carpenter Position at Moose Cree

This position, supervised by the Maintenance Supervisor, involves working with the housing department to support the upkeep of residential properties managed by the Moose Cree First Nation. Candidates should possess a minimum of two years of construction experience, alongside practical knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems, as well as familiarity with building codes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on homes

• Collaborate with the maintenance team on assigned tasks

• Follow the National Building Code guidelines

• Demonstrate strong communication with the team

• Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of work

Requirements:
• “Red Seal” certification or intent to pursue it

• At least 2 years of relevant experience

• Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities

• Valid Class “G” Driver's License

• Ability to work well under pressure
