Electrician Position Schools

Become a Temporary Electrician with School District No. 43 in Coquitlam, working the afternoon shift. Engage in significant electrical tasks, including LED upgrades and fixture replacements.

This full-time role runs from 16:15 to 23:45 and is guided by the Manager of Maintenance and Trades Supervisor. Responsibilities encompass performing electrical upgrades and altering existing setups for optimal efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a BCTQ certification and proven troubleshooting skills for effective performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement LED upgrades at various school locations

• Replace old fixtures and retrofit lighting systems

• Handle additional electrical responsibilities as they arise

• Liaise with maintenance staff for project completion

• Maintain safety and operational standards

Requirements:

• Hold a BCTQ Electrician qualification

• Must have a valid BC Driver’s License

• Relevant experience in electrical work required

• Demonstrate effective troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work in unionized settings
