Position: Registered Fire Protection Technician Role
Become a critical part of Community Fire Prevention Ltd as a Registered Fire Protection Technician, focusing on inspections and safety compliance. This full-time role demands expertise and leadership.

In this position, you will be responsible for leading inspections, conducting repairs, and mentoring Junior Fire Prevention Technicians.

Your role will ensure compliance with the 2018 BC Fire Code while providing high-quality service. You will also maintain open communication with various stakeholders about project statuses and participate in after-hours emergencies, making your presence pivotal during critical incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead inspections and compliance checks on fire equipment

• Execute necessary repairs under fire safety regulations

• Complete electronic documentation for all inspections

• Support after-hours emergency on-call teams

• Mentor and develop Junior Technicians

Requirements:

• Certified Technician with ASTTBC RFPT or CFAA

• Clean BC driver's license required

• Strong electrical, electronic, or mechanical expertise

• Ability to troubleshoot life safety systems

• Proficient in English communication skills
