Become an HVAC Mechanic I with School District No. 43 (Coquitlam) during the afternoon shift. This essential role supports the heating and ventilation systems vital for district operations.
You will oversee the installation, servicing, and repair of HVAC systems while providing valuable maintenance expertise to ensure optimal function. Your commitment to quality will shine through in your work with pneumatic and electronic controls, while also supervising assistive tradesmen. This position requires an individual who excels in troubleshooting and enjoys working independently in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and service all HVAC heating equipment
• Calibrate and repair electronic control systems
• Balance air systems within building infrastructures
• Perform scheduled inspections per maintenance programs
• Keep accurate inventory of maintenance supplies
Requirements:
• British Columbia HVAC/Refrigeration Qualification Certificate
• Class B gas fitting certification required
• Three years HVAC experience minimum
• Strong troubleshooting skills essential
• Valid BC class 5 driver's license
