Elevate your mechanical skills with Hall Constructors as a Small Engine Mechanic. This role focuses on diagnosing and maintaining small engines, ensuring top performance of essential equipment.
As a Small Engine Mechanic, you will play a vital role in our equipment division, supporting the optimization of tools and small machinery. The position requires a hands-on approach to diagnosing issues and performing routine maintenance on various engine types, including diesel-powered equipment. You’ll work independently and collaborate with teammates while maintaining a safe and organized environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair small engines, including generators and pumps
• Service diesel-powered equipment and light construction machines
• Perform routine maintenance tasks like oil changes and spark plug replacements
• Troubleshoot fuel, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Maintain detailed logs of repairs and upkeep
Requirements:
• At least 2 years of small engine repair experience
• Proficiency in diagnosing diesel engine issues
• Ability to read service manuals and schematics
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
• Basic computer skills for logging repairs
