Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Position: Kiewit Heavy Equipment Mechanic Role
Become a Journeyman Heavy Equipment Mechanic at Kiewit’s Marine Yard located in Coquitlam, BC. This role entails hands-on maintenance of heavy machinery on weekdays with overtime as needed.

Ideal candidates will hold a Red Seal certification and have at least three years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance. You’ll contribute to important work servicing Kiewit’s Canadian Equipment fleet while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards in every task.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct maintenance and repairs on various heavy equipment

• Support project teams with equipment needs

• Engage in material fabrication for diverse projects

• Uphold Kiewit’s quality and environmental standards

• Clean driver’s abstract and compliance with policies

Requirements:

• Holding a Red Seal Journeyman Heavy Equipment Mechanic certification

• Minimum three years of relevant experience

• Marine maintenance knowledge is a plus

• Valid driver's license without infractions

• Successful completion of required testing
