HVAC Mechanic Afternoon Shift

Position: HVAC Mechanic 1 Afternoon Shift
Join School District No. 43 (Coquitlam) as an HVAC Mechanic 1 for afternoon hours from 3:15 PM to 11:45 PM. This role engages in vital maintenance and installation of HVAC systems.

You'll operate within a prominent school district, directly impacting the comfort of 34,000 students and support staff. Your tasks will include installing heating and ventilation systems, repairing controls, and ensuring air balance within buildings. Proficiency in reading blueprints and maintaining supply inventories is essential for performing these tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service heating and ventilation equipment and systems

• Repair pneumatic and electronic thermostats

• Implement preventative maintenance policies

• Read and interpret facility plans and specifications

• Provide estimates and advice on HVAC projects

Requirements:

• British Columbia Certificate of Trades Qualification

• Class B gas fitting ticket required

• Minimum three years experience in HVAC systems

• Familiarity with DDC systems preferred

• Valid BC Class 5 driver's license
