Journeyman Plumber

Your day-to-day will look like:

Demonstrate proficiency in plumbing installations.
Goal driven, task orientated.
Demonstrate thorough understanding of mechanical systems.
Maintain a clean workspace.
Complete administrative duties.
Productivity and quality management.
Knowledge of safe work practices.
Report directly to site foreman/supervisor.
Complete assigned job in a professional, cooperative and productive manner.
Communicate to the Site Foreman/Supervisor any efficiencies or cost saving measures to maximize project success. To work in a safe and timely manner and report to the Site Foreman/Supervisor any inability to do so.
Install all materials, equipment and systems in a proficient and correct manner as directed by the Site Supervisor.
Read and interpret drawings/schematics and specifications as required.
General plumbing installations.
Maintain an excellent attitude.
Complete projects on time and on budget.
Foster and grow relationships.
Professional in both appearance and action.
Self-motivated and the ability to maintain productivity without supervision.
Set goals and drive their completion.

You have the following qualifications, technical and interpersonal skills:

Qualifications:

Registered Journeyman Plumber.
Basic security clearance, clean drivers abstract.
4-5 years of experience in the plumbing industry, considered an asset.

Technical

Skills:

Experienced in Safely working in and around construction sites.
Knowledge and skills of industry standard safe work practices.
Hydronic experience in heating, cooling, mechanical rooms, grooved, victaulic and cast iron experience. (considered and asset)

Interpersonal

Skills:

Great attitude towards safety
Strong organizational skills and problem-solving skills
Effective verbal and written English communication skills
Ability to excel in a team atmosphere
