Above and Beyond Networks is currently hiring fibre optic technicians.
Above and Beyond Networks is a Lower mainland based business providing network solutions to clients across Western Canada. Established in 2018, Above and Beyond Networks combines years of industry experience designing, building and maintaining customer networks. Above and Beyond Networks utilities resources to best benefit its customer and their communities. Above and Beyond Networks works to build lasting customer relationships.
It is expected that you have experience with the following:
Installing cable in inside plant and outside plant locations.
Knowledge of Telus, Rogers and Shaw/Rogers Systems. Splicing requirements and procedures.
Proficient with Tyco/commscope Splice Closures.
Extensive ribbon and loose tube fusion splicing knowledge and experience.
Confined space trained, adhering to strict protocols.
Aerial bucket truck trained.
Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather.
Ability to work in remote locations (Length of travel up to 14 days)
Comfortable speaking with customers as well as being a good communicator with other staff.
Adequate means of transportation to get to and from the yard.
Night shift and out of town work required from time to time.
Tool bag with basic tools.
Work is all over the lower mainland. Reporting to the Coquitlam yard.
A valid drivers licence is required.(Drivers abstract required)
Background check required for access 's.
Safety and First Aid certificates are great if you have them, but not required. We train the right candidates.
Willingness to participate in the joint health and safety committee.
