Position: Fibre Optic Technician at Above and Beyond Networks
Join Above and Beyond Networks as a Fibre Optic Technician, where your skills in splicing and installation will play a crucial role in network solutions across Western Canada.

This technician position requires expertise in installing fibre optic cables and familiarity with Telus and Rogers systems. You'll be performing both inside and outside plant work, using your proficiency with fusion splicing techniques. Ideal candidates will also be comfortable working in confined spaces and outdoor environments, occasionally engaging with clients across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install fibre optic cables in diverse locations

• Perform ribbon and loose tube fusion splicing

• Communicate effectively with clients and team members

• Operate bucket trucks adhering to safety protocols

• Work in remote areas and varying weather conditions

Requirements:

• 1 year of fibre optic splicing experience

• 1 year in telecommunications preferred

• Valid driver’s license and transportation

• Night shift availability

• Basic tool kit for installation work
