Skilled Fibre Optic Technician Position

Elevate network infrastructure as a Fibre Optic Technician with Above and Beyond Networks, specializing in splicing and installation across Western Canada.

This role focuses on bringing your fibre optic expertise into practice, dealing with installations in both indoor and outdoor settings. You will need a solid understanding of Telus and Rogers systems, alongside hands-on experience with splice closures. Effective communication with customers and the ability to work under diverse conditions will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute fibre optic cable installations efficiently

• Carry out heavy-duty fusion splicing

• Engage with clients to ensure satisfaction

• Follow strict safety protocols while working

• Travel to various locations for on-site tasks

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience in fibre splicing

• Telecommunications experience is a plus

• Must have a valid driver’s license

• Open to working night shifts

• Required basic installation tools
