Take on a vital role as a Full-Time Carpenter Roofing Technician with the Coquitlam School District. Focus on roof maintenance and safety during scheduled day shifts.
The Coquitlam School District, accommodating over 34,000 students, is searching for a Carpenter to assist with essential roof maintenance services. You will provide necessary inspections and repairs and contribute to building safety and functionality while collaborating within a unionized setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Report on conditions of roof membranes and drainage
• Eliminate debris and maintain drainage systems
• Repair flashing and minor blistering defects
• Execute renovations and maintenance on school facilities
• Operate Aerial Work Platforms and forklifts as required
Requirements:
• Red Seal certification in Roofing or Carpentry
• Current BC class 5 driver's license
• Relevant experience in carpentry tasks
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction
• Strong troubleshooting skills critical for repairs
