Take on a pivotal role at Onni as a Reliable Hoist Operator, focusing on the safe operation and maintenance of hoists during the afternoon shift. Your expertise will support efficient construction operations.
As part of the Onni team, you'll be tasked with moving heavy loads safely while ensuring compliance with all safety protocols. Daily responsibilities include performing inspections, coordinating with team members, and managing cleanliness on-site. You’ll work under the direction of the Site Superintendent, contributing to a collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate hoists safely for transporting personnel
• Conduct regular inspections and maintain hoist functionality
• Manage deliveries and site cleanliness through teamwork
• Communicate hoist issues to the foreperson
• Maintain a safe and organized work area
Requirements:
• Must possess a valid Hoist Ticket
• Previous experience in construction settings
• Good communication skills are essential
• Ability to perform under pressure
• Required safety equipment must be worn
