Public Accounting Associate

We serve a diverse client base across industries such as construction, real estate, aviation, auto dealerships, retail & wholesale, professional services, international investments, and high-net-worth individuals. We are seeking a Public Accounting Associate who thrives in a collaborative environment and is ready to step beyond the traditional firm mindset.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
• Assist with general ledger accounting, month-end/year-end closings, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Support client bookkeeping and accounting system maintenance.
• Assist in preparing business and individual tax returns as needed.
• Identify and communicate accounting, auditing, and internal control issues.
• Collaborate with clients to gather financial data and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Engage in team-based problem solving, client support, and special projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in public accounting
• Experience with financial statement preparation and general ledger work
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• CPA or working towards CPA designation
• Familiarity with Ultra Tax, Practice CS, or Quick Books
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
