We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to lead and manage the accounting function for a growing real estate development firm with multiple active projects. This role will oversee the accounting department (one direct report) and will report directly to the CEO and executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Manage accounting for multiple real estate development projects
- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and cash flow reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
- Supervise and mentor one accounting staff member
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax professionals, and lenders as needed
- Senior-level accounting experience, preferably in real estate or development
- Strong understanding of project-based accounting and financial controls
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Salary range:
Commensurate with experience.
