About

the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sr. Leisure Travel Consultant to lead our team of Leisure Travel Agents in our Coral Gables office. This supervisory role is key to supporting both day-to-day operations and long-term growth of the leisure travel business. This role will lead by example to develop strong multi-level relationships throughout the organization. The ideal candidate is bilingual, proficient in Sabre GDS, has Travel Agency experience and is enthusiastic about collaborating with sales and marketing to enhance service offerings and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and mentor a team of Leisure and Group Travel Agents
  • Support career growth through coaching and development
  • Conduct annual performance reviews
  • Oversee daily attendance, manage time clocks, and approve overtime and time off requests
  • Maintain and update the team’s time-off calendar
  • Assist with reservations as needed
Operational Oversight
  • Monitor and manage shared email inboxes to ensure timely responses
  • Provide support in ticketing and Q monitoring using Sabre GDS when necessary
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and quality standards
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to drive business development
  • Identify opportunities for growth in the leisure travel sector
  • Contribute to strategic planning and process improvements
Administrative Duties
  • Coordinate with HR to ensure accurate commission reporting and payments for agents.
  • Liaise with finance on commission reports and ensure timely submissions
