About the Opportunity
As a Community Lead, you are integral to the elevated member experience at your WeWork location. You will report to building leadership daily and be responsible for ensuring we meet our members’ needs and maintain global WeWork standards. Your role includes driving member engagement through curated events, fostering connections for business opportunities, and creating a welcoming environment for members and guests.
Responsibilities- Membership Engagement & Retention
- Complete scheduled, quarterly conversations with owned accounts to maximize member value.
- Anticipate member and guest needs using collected data to personalize experiences.
- Follow up with members who submitted low ratings or negative responses in Medallia.
- Use the issue‑resolution model and severity scale to determine next steps, ensuring solutions meet member needs.
- Review Medallia responses to identify improvement areas and implement proactive changes.
- Support front‑desk coverage schedule to ensure consistent coverage during business hours.
- Move‑In & Move‑Out
- Conduct pre‑move‑in meetings and complete New Member Orientation for all new accounts.
- Create onboarding materials (welcome notes, FAQ guides, etc.).
- Conduct move‑out interviews to capture departing members’ overall experience.
- Events
- Provide feedback on programming types and evaluate events on attendance, satisfaction, and impact.
- Set up and host weekly social events and execute plan‑driven events as directed.
- Distribute promotion materials and ensure building‑specific operational requirements are met.
- Building Operations & Management
- Conduct morning walkthroughs, escalating recurring issues to managers or cross‑functional teams.
- Communicate building updates to members via email, in person, or broadcast.
- Manage building ambiance, music levels, and activations appropriate to the daypart.
- Coordinate with cleaning companies and oversee key management and inventory.
- Support community responsibilities for member companies when Community staffing is absent, liaising with Sales and Account Management.
- Safety & Security
- Understand and implement Emergency Action Plans.
- Create incident reports, respond to medical emergencies, and follow leadership instructions during security alerts.
- Sales Support
- Conduct building tours for sales teams, VIPs, and prospective members.
- Notify Growth Team when members express intent to discuss growth options.
- Handoff prospective member sales to appropriate contacts.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of hospitality experience.
- Proficient local language and understanding of local culture.
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organization skills with ability to multitask projects from start to finish.
- Attentive to detail and able to manage tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Enjoy growing relationships continually.
Base Pay: $60,000 annually.
Incentive Compensation: Eligible to participate in an incentive plan specific to the role. Details provided upon hiring.
