The Project Architect is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Coral Gables, FL. This role involves leading the design and documentation of architectural projects from concept through construction, coordinating with internal teams, consultants, and clients. The Project Architect will develop drawings and specifications, review and manage submittals, and ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements. Daily responsibilities include overseeing BIM models, guiding junior team members, participating in client meetings, and monitoring project schedules and deliverables.
The role also requires active involvement in quality control and supporting the firm’s commitment to design excellence and efficient project delivery.
- Strong foundation in Architecture, including building design, construction documentation, and coordination with engineering disciplines.
- Proficiency in Project Management, with the ability to manage schedules, deliverables, and communication across multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience preparing and reviewing Submittals, RFIs, and other construction‑phase documentation.
- Hands‑on skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools (e.g., Revit) for design, documentation, and coordination.
- Knowledge of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) principles and sustainable design best practices.
- Professional degree in Architecture and progress toward or completion of architectural licensure preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving abilities, with attention to detail and design quality.
- Experience in mixed‑use, retail, hospitality, or residential projects is beneficial.
