Position OverviewThe Primary & Lower School at Gulliver Prep is seeking a passionate and dedicated educator to cover for a leave position starting immediately and will be needed through the end of May 2026. The ideal candidate has a passion for working with children and an excellent understanding of their social‑emotional development. Knowledge of standards for elementary grades across all subject areas is expected.
Candidates who have experience with Responsive Classroom, Science of Reading, Reveal Math and teaching in a 1:1 technology environment are highly preferred.
Candidates should be skilled in collaborating with peers on their grade team as well as teachers in other disciplines within the division, as well as demonstrate commitment to equity and inclusion and professional development.
Qualifications & Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in the subject area or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 2‑3 years of successful teaching experience, ideally at the elementary school level.
- Deep understanding of early childhood development and best practices in foundational literacy and numeracy instruction.
- Strong instructional, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to promote a positive and collaborative professional culture.
- Passion for education, student development, and professional learning.
- Commitment to Gulliver Prep’s mission, values, and continuous improvement.
