Position SummaryThe Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering invites applications for a tenured/tenure-track position at the assistant or associate levels starting in Spring 2026.
Responsibilities- Conduct research in data analytics, machine learning, statistics, operations research, advanced manufacturing, or human-machine interfaces (HMI).
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses, including developing new courses in Innovation and Entrepreneurship for senior positions.
- Pursue excellence in research, teaching, and service, including mentoring students and fostering an inclusive academic environment.
- Senior faculty are expected to play a leadership role within the department and promote interdisciplinary research throughout the University.
- Earned or expected to earn a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated excellence in research, teaching, and service with a commitment to mentoring students.
- Strong record of productive and active research in the specified areas.
- Commitment to diversity and inclusion within the department.
