Senior Healthcare Project Manager – MEP Sector, Florida
We are seeking an experienced project manager to lead and coordinate healthcare facility design projects within our MEP team in Florida.
Responsibilities- Represent the company in client interactions at a responsible‑charge level.
- Manage project risks to minimize exposure for both the company and the client.
- Facilitate coordination among the project team, client, and other consultants.
- Ensure project success through timely internal and external communication.
- Track progress toward project milestones and adjust plans as needed.
- Communicate team needs and time constraints to clients, managing expectations for win‑win solutions.
- Plan and manage the design process within budget for MEP/FP work.
- Identify scope changes and assess their cost and time impact.
- Maintain quality by ensuring the QC process is followed and reviewing all client deliverables.
- Manage cash flow through timely invoicing and collections.
- Maintain existing client relationships and support the development of new ones.
- Provide lead engineering design or guidance within one’s discipline.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Architectural Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program.
- 8+ years of building HVAC or Electrical design experience, including 5+ years in healthcare facility design.
- Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Florida preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of Mechanical/Electrical codes and FGI.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Process‑oriented, with a focus on timely documentation of correspondence.
- Advanced equipment selection and analysis skills, and the ability to develop equipment room sizes during SD and DD phases.
Salary range: $130,000 to $170,000. Compensation will be based on skills, experience, certifications, and geographic location. All full‑time employees receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, vacation time, and 401(k) retirement benefits.
