H.I.G. Capital is seeking a Manager, Workday Financials to support and optimize the firm’s global Workday Financials platform. This role will be responsible for day‑to‑day ownership of Workday Financials modules, partnering closely with Finance, Accounting, and Technology teams to ensure the system effectively supports financial operations, reporting, and controls. The ideal candidate brings strong functional expertise in Workday Financials, a process‑oriented mindset, and hands‑on experience operating within a complex, global organization.

This role will be based in H.I.G.’s Coral Gables, Florida office.

• Serve as the primary functional owner for Workday Financials modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Expenses, and Financial Reporting.
• Partner with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and improve end‑to‑end financial processes.
• Configure, maintain, and enhance Workday Financials business processes, security, reporting, and controls.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities by ensuring system accuracy and data integrity.
• Manage Workday Financials releases and enhancements, including testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with IT and integration teams to support financial integrations.
• Develop documentation and training materials.
• Provide hands‑on support to Workday Users.
• Partner with Workday or vendors as needed.
• Support governance, audit readiness, and internal controls.
• Stay current on Workday Financials features and best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience supporting or administering Workday Financials.
• Strong hands‑on experience with core Workday Financials modules.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
• Workday Financials certification strongly preferred.
• Experience in private equity or financial services is a plus.
• Experience translating business requirements into system solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, global environment.
