Job Details

• Lead and manage tax due diligence engagements for both buy-side and sell-side transactions

Deliver high-quality, timely tax consulting services with a focus on exceeding client expectations
Collaborate closely with Partners and Directors on complex technical tax matters, including Subchapter C, Subchapter K, and international inbound/outbound issues
Analyze and review the tax implications of merger agreements and other legal documents; draft tax opinion memoranda
Advise clients on a range of tax consulting projects, including debt restructurings, tax basis calculations, earnings and profits analyses, and Section 382 studies
Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to interns and junior staff
Effectively communicate complex tax concepts to clients in a clear and approachable way

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in tax, with a strong focus on M&A transactions
• 6+ months of management experience
• JD, or Master's in Taxation (preferred)
