Overview
Fiduciary Trust International, a premier investment and wealth management firm owned by Franklin Templeton, hires a Trust Administrator / Relationship Associate (RA) to work in our Coral Gables, FL office near Miami. The RA partners with Trust Officers, Relationship Managers, and Portfolio Managers to support the wealth and financial needs of High‑Net‑Worth (HNW) clients.
LocationCoral Gables, Florida (minimum 3 days per week in office; hybrid work arrangement possible)
Key Responsibilities- Work with Trust Officers, Relationship Managers, and Portfolio Managers on HNW family relationships and prospects
- Perform account administration tasks, prepare wealth projections, cash flow analyses, fee reviews, and PowerPoint presentations for client meetings
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients and intermediaries (accountants, attorneys, other advisors)
- Review daily overdraft reports, coordinate with Portfolio Managers to raise cash for overdraft cure, and initiate wire transfers, discretionary principal payments, currency transactions, bill payments, and gifts & contributions
- Assist Trust Officers with trust terminations and account closing in coordination with Trust Counsel and Tax Department
- Partner with Relationship Managers to understand client goals, attend client meetings, and analyze client goals for extended family and next generations
- Conduct new account openings: analyze documents for KYC, review account openings with Relationship Managers to ensure proper administration, state law requirements, beneficiaries, tax suits, and fee analysis
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2–5 years of experience in financial services with client‑facing experience preferred
- Trust Administration background and knowledge preferred; ability to review and interpret trust language a plus
- Desire to learn and grow within the client service model
- Basic knowledge of competitors desired
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to multi‑task and meet deadlines
- Strong teamwork and client‑needs balancing skills
- Effective interpersonal, relationship‑building, oral, and written communication skills
- Experience handling confidential client account information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; self‑starter with good judgment and ability to prioritize tasks

The annual salary for this position is expected to range between $71,400 – $84,000 depending on relevant experience, plus discretionary bonus.
