M&A Tax Manager

Overview

Tax Manager position located in Coral Gables, FL, US. Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 per year.

Experience:

Manager.

• Lead and manage tax due diligence engagements for both buy-side and sell-side transactions.
• Deliver high-quality, timely tax consulting services with a focus on exceeding client expectations.
• Collaborate closely with Partners and Directors on complex technical tax matters, including Subchapter C, Subchapter K, and international inbound/outbound issues.
• Analyze and review the tax implications of merger agreements and other legal documents; draft tax opinion memoranda.
• Advise clients on a range of tax consulting projects, including debt restructurings, tax basis calculations, earnings and profits analyses, and Section 382 studies.
• Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to interns and junior staff.
• Communicate complex tax concepts to clients in a clear and approachable way.

• 5+ years of experience in tax, with a strong focus on M&A transactions.
• 6+ months of management experience.
• JD or Master’s in Taxation (preferred).
