The Public Area Attendant responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel.  to spend a ‘day in the life’ of a hospitality professional at a full-service hotel via our virtual reality experience.

• Monitor and Replenish Supplies:
  Ensure that all public areas are stocked with necessary supplies such as toiletries, soap, paper towels, and cleaning products.
• Report Maintenance Issues:
  Identify and report any maintenance or repair needs in public areas to the appropriate department.
• Guest Assistance:
  Provide directions and information to guests about hotel facilities and services.
• Maintain Outdoor Areas:
  Clean and maintain outdoor spaces such as patios, walkways, and parking lots.
• Adhere to Health and Safety Regulations:
  Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Monitor Restroom Cleanliness:
  Perform frequent checks of public restrooms to ensure they are clean and stocked throughout the day.
• Flexibility:
  Adapt to changing schedules and tasks as needed, including working evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Daily Duties:

• Sweep, mop, scrub (where necessary), wax, and polish floors.
• Vacuum and polish elevator exteriors and interiors.
• Clean rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture.
• Dust and polish metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empty trash receptacles and ashtrays.
• Collect and transport soiled linens and waste to designated areas.
• Deep cleaning projects
