Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist with a strong background in recruiting within manufacturing, engineering, and technical environments. This position will be responsible for full‑cycle recruitment as well as supporting employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, performance management, and day‑to‑day HR operations. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on HR professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and has demonstrated success attracting and retaining skilled, professional, technical, and production talent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for engineering, manufacturing, production, administrative, technical, and professional positions
  • Source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and recruiting platforms
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, coordinate interviews with hiring managers, and facilitate the offer process
  • Develop effective recruiting strategies for competitive and hard‑to‑fill positions
  • Maintain accurate applicant tracking system records and recruiting metrics
  • Coordinate job fairs, hiring events, and workforce development initiatives
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and candidate requirements
  • Human Resources Administration
  • Coordinate employee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data
  • Assist with payroll, benefits enrollment, and employee status changes
  • Maintain personnel documentation and ensure appropriate record retention
  • Provide day‑to‑day HR administrative support to employees and management
  • Employee Relations
  • Serve as a resource for employees and management regarding HR‑related questions and concerns
  • Assist with performance management, employee coaching, and disciplinary processes
  • Support employee engagement and retention initiatives
  • Help address workplace concerns and promote a positive, professional work environment
  • Compliance & Training
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook information
  • Coordinate workplace training, safety programs, and compliance requirements
  • Support OSHA, safety, and workforce compliance initiatives
  • Benefits & Leave Administration
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and benefit‑related questions
  • Coordinate PTO tracking and leave administration
  • Support annual open enrollment and related employee communications
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • 3+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience within manufacturing, engineering, construction, logistics, or industrial environments
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting practices, employment law, and HR compliance
  • Experience with HRIS and ATS platforms, Microsoft Office, and recruiting tools
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
Preferred Experience
  • Recruiting for manufacturing, production, maintenance, engineering, warehouse, and technical positions
  • Supporting workforce planning and employee retention initiatives
  • Experience working within manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or other technical environments
  • Familiarity with workplace safety programs and OSHA standards
Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $65,000–$70,000 annually, based on experience

This position will begin on a temporary basis with the opportunity to transition to permanent employment after approximately 90 days.
