Step into a high-impact leadership role with a global technology powerhouse supporting one of the most anticipated international sporting events. As a Service Delivery Manager, you’ll oversee the planning and execution of IT logistics across North America and Europe. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of enterprise-grade technology and world-class live events, ensuring seamless infrastructure delivery on a global scale.
Previous experience in the sports or major live events industry is required—this role demands familiarity with the urgency, scale, and complexity of live global operations.
This is a 6-month contract position with potential to be hired on permanently. The rate for this role is between $45-$50hr and you must be located in Coral Gables, FL to be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the service delivery and logistics of IT equipment for high-profile sporting venues and international operations
- Coordinate planning and execution of technology deployments across multiple global sites
- Oversee IT infrastructure and equipment needs, including CATV, AV, radio communications, and temporary event systems
- Act as the primary point of contact between technical teams, external vendors, and key event stakeholders
- Apply ITSM best practices to ensure operational excellence, rapid issue resolution, and minimal downtime
- Manage resource allocation, vendor coordination, and delivery timelines in high-pressure environments
- Provide regular progress reports, identify risks, and ensure milestones are met across all locations
- Build and lead a high-performing, agile delivery team capable of adapting to evolving event needs
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in IT, including 4+ years in service delivery, project management, or logistics
- Strong understanding of event-related technologies including CATV, AV systems, radio communications, and mobile infrastructure
- ITIL certification or solid experience with IT service management best practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust across technical and non-technical teams
- Fluent in English;
Spanish is a plus - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Project, and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams
