Samlut & Company, P.A., C.P.A. is looking for an experienced leader to run daily firm operations, manage a 20+ person team, and drive performance across tax, accounting, and assurance services. You’ll partner directly with the Managing Partner to streamline workflows, improve billing efficiency, and lead staff development — freeing leadership to focus on strategic growth.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in public accounting, 3+ years managing people in a CPA firm, and experience with CCH Pro System fx or similar tools. This is a leadership opportunity with full visibility, autonomy, and real impact on the firm’s future.

Samlut & Company, P.A., C.P.A. is a full-service CPA firm based in Miami serving individuals, corporations, nonprofits, and government entities. We specialize in tax preparation, client accounting services (CAS), assurance, litigation support, and IRS representation.

Our 20+ person team is expanding — and we’re seeking a
CPA Firm Manager
to take operational leadership to the next level.

This is a true leadership position, not a back-office job.

You’ll be the Managing Partner’s right hand — driving staff performance, client satisfaction, workflow management, and firm profitability.

If you’ve managed people in a CPA firm, understand how tax and audit seasons flow, and know how to make a firm run like a business — this is your moment.

• Lead and develop a team of 15–18 professionals and administrative staff.
• Oversee daily operations — staffing, engagement budgets, scheduling, and quality control.
• Implement policies, streamline workflows, and elevate accountability.
• Partner with our automation and technology teams to improve efficiency across CCH Pro System fx and related tools.

You’ll play a hands‑on role ensuring deliverables are on time, clients are happy, and the firm is operating at peak performance.

• 10+ years in public accounting (CPA firm experience required).
• 3+ years in a management or firm operations leadership role.
• CPA license (active or inactive, any state).
• Strong understanding of firm economics — WIP, realization, utilization, leverage.
• Experienced with CCH Pro System fx or similar practice management software.
• Proven track record in team leadership, process improvement, and accountability.

Experience in a $1M–$5M firm environment, bilingual (English/Spanish), RPA/automation experience, or IRS representation knowledge.

• First 30 Days:Meet every staff member, review workflows, and identify the top 3 operational opportunities.
• First 90 Days:Implement billing and time entry compliance; dashboards running weekly.
• First Year:Time entry compliance 95%+, utilization 70–80%, Managing Partner focused 100% on growth — not operations.
