Position Summary
The PC Assembler I is responsible for entry level electronic assembly functions in a production environment.
Primary Responsibilities- Prepares boards to be assembled by studying work instructions, procedures, blueprint specifications, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Assembles and inspects assemblies under magnification in accordance with standardized processes, procedures and methods.
- Performs adjustments or replacements of component parts.
- Reads and interprets drawings, specifications or written instructions.
- Recognizes subtle functional problems, defective parts or other abnormalities.
- Handles various types of assemblies and must be able to learn to perform any new assembly task.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Proficiency with soldering iron and have lead trimming skills preferred.
