Real Estate Attorney, Regulatory Compliance Specialist
We are a full-service real estate law firm and title operation handling both residential and commercial real estate transactions. We are seeking an experienced Title Processor to join our team.
This position is responsible for managing real estate files from contract through post-closing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional service to clients, lenders, and real estate agents. The Title Processor will handle all aspects of the transaction, including file intake, reviewing title commitments, resolving title issues, coordinating closings, and managing all post-closing deliverables.
The ideal candidate is highly organized and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have a minimum of three years of experience as a Real Estate Title Processor. A strong understanding of title commitments, curative requirements, and closing processes is required.
Experience with Qualia strongly preferred
Responsibilities- Review and process title orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and review title commitments, policies, and related documents. Clear all title-related requirements.
- Coordinate with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and other parties involved in the transaction.
- Draft and review legal documents, including deeds, affidavits, settlement statements, and curative instruments.
- Schedule and facilitate closing appointments, ensuring all necessary documents are signed and notarized.
- Manage the disbursement of funds, including wire transfers and check issuance.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations throughout the closing process.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of all transactions.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate title processing and closing.
- Strong understanding of Florida real estate transactions, title insurance, and closing procedures.
- Professional demeanor with all parties involved in the transaction.
- Proactive attitude, problem-solving ability, and ownership of work product.
- Proficiency in title software and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in Qualia preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Notary Public certification is a plus. If not a Florida notary, must have the ability to obtain Notary Public certification.
- Experience with Qualia preferred.
This is NOT a remote position. Must have reliable transportation and be able to commute to Coral Gables five days per week.
Compensation$55,000 - $80,000 yearly
