The Operations Coordinator takes the lead by performing all back‑of‑house operations in a Tiffany store. The Coordinator has a passion for providing excellent client service and partners with store leadership on key initiatives which support the team and drive sales goals. The Coordinator is a key holder and acts as manager on duty when a manager is unavailable.
Responsibilities- The Operations Coordinator performs order fulfillment, manages inventory, coordinates client service activities, and may open and close the store.
- Deepens the relationship with clients to drive lifetime loyalty and spend, supports store sales plans, captures customer data, and acts as Guest Experience Manager.
- Elevates the in‑store experience by delivering memorable moments, acting as a Tiffany brand ambassador, executing best practices in hospitality and store amenities, and resolving client and employee concerns.
- Provides operational support to drive sales and service: daily tasks such as order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, replenishment, cleaning jewelry, transferring merchandise, taking in jewelry repairs, cleaning merchandise; ensures compliance with internal control procedures, maintains inventory accuracy, partners with sales professionals, management and clients to respond quickly, coaches team members when acting as manager on duty, and supports company operations efficiency objectives.
- 2–3 years of prior retail experience in retail operations with comprehensive knowledge of merchandising, client service, administration and shipping.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to work retail store hours as necessary, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Flexibility to perform different tasks based on day‑to‑day business needs.
- Must have authorization to work in the United States or in the country where the position is based.
- A college/university degree.
- Graduate Gemologist degree or previous Gemological Institute of America (GIA) coursework.
