Deering Bay Yacht and Country Club, located in Coral Gables, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Tennis Shop Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Part Time, Saturday and Sunday 8:30am - 4:00pm. 15 hours a week. $17.00 per hour.
Key Responsibilities of the Tennis Shop Attendant:
- Schedules and assigns court times.
- Books lessons and clinics for Members and guests.
- Assists Members and guests on the telephone and at the tennis Pro Shop desk.
- Adjusts court sheets due to rain delays and other unforeseen conflicts, as needed.
- Offers superior customer service while selling merchandise and assisting management in merchandising, inventory control, court reservations, and special events preparation.
Minimum Qualifications for the Tennis Shop Attendant:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Qualifications:
- Must have knowledge of Tennis and related verbiage
- Demonstrates desire to work in Customer Service.
- Able to stand for long periods and due some moderate lifting. I.e filling ice and water coolers
