Plasma Center Nurse- LPN

Job Description

Bio Life Plasma Services, a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd., is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations under the guidance of the Center Manager and Center Physician.

Key responsibilities:

• Determine donor eligibility for plasma donation, including informed consent, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and review of serological protein electrophoresis.
• Manage donor adverse events and evaluate donor reactions per SOPs.
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable results.
• Provide medical guidance to donors and report unacceptable findings to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs.
• Support Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate further evaluation with occupational health.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations related to pandemic threats.
• Provide center-level support for environmental, health, and safety (EHS) as directed by Bio Life Medical Affairs.

• High school diploma or equivalent, including graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements.
• Current state license or certification as LPN or LVN in the state of assignment.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Fulfillment of state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Completion of FDA-approved training requirements for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
• Minimum two years of clinical or hospital experience.

U.S. hourly wage range: $24.32 - $33.44.
