American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation night shift position requiring an IA or compact RN license and at least 2 years of experience.

• Work in a 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital unit
• Care for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
• Unit has 20 beds
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed weekly hours
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• No floating required
• Uses Epic EHR

• Active IA or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Child and Adult Iowa Mandatory Reporter certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• 6 months of acute, rehab, or long-term care experience preferred but not required
• Basic computer knowledge and strong verbal and written communication skills in English required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• AHA certifications required

• Provide intensive, patient-focused rehabilitation nursing care as part of a comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation program
• Must be a cooperative team player with a strong desire to collaborate with the care team
• Navy scrubs required
• Report time is 6am or 6pm on first day
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
