The Technician II

- Formulations is responsible for using automated and manual lab equipment accurately; including limited maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
This position reports to the Supervisor - TNFRP and is part of the Tubes and Formulated Research Products Value Stream located in Coralville, Iowa, and will be an on-site role.
Shift: M-Th 7pm-6am
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Uses automated and manual lab equipment accurately; including limited maintenance and troubleshooting activities
- Uses custom software packages to complete tasks and create final product
- Translates order requirements into a process to formulate oligos to the customer's specifications
The essential requirements of the job include:
- An associate degree in a science related field and at least two years of lab experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to read, write, speak, understand and follow basic operating instructions
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- A bachelor's degree.
- Life Science work experience.
- Ability to perform and transition through a variety of tasks with concurrent deadlines daily with urgency and efficiency while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
