SERVPRO® is a trusted national company whose employees provide emergency response 24 hours a day for homes and commercial properties when disasters happen. Our services include water damage cleanup, fire damage restoration, mold remediation, and biohazard cleanup.
We are seeking Production Crew Chiefs and Restoration Technicians to join our team. Whether you’re experienced in restoration or eager to learn, SERVPRO® provides both on-the-job and formal training. Construction and/or restoration experience is a bonus.
Restoration Technician – OverviewThe Restoration Technician performs restoration processes on individual projects and maintains the professional appearance of SERVPRO equipment and vehicles. By providing consistent, high-quality work, our technicians represent the best in the cleanup and restoration industry.
Primary Responsibilities- Inventory, load, and maintain work vehicles, products, and supplies
- Prepare rooms/areas for restoration work and set up staging areas
- Perform restoration processes as directed
- Follow safety and risk management guidelines at all times
- Communicate with supervisors and teammates to maintain efficient workflows
- Clean up and break down job sites at the end of each day
- Maintain an organized warehouse, office, and equipment
- Continue building restoration knowledge and expertise
The Crew Chief oversees technicians on job sites, ensuring quality service, safety, and efficiency while serving as the lead point of communication in the field.
Additional Responsibilities- Supervise and train technicians
- Assign tasks and monitor job progress
- Ensure projects are completed on time and to SERVPRO standards
- Communicate between management and field teams
- Provide leadership in emergency situations
- Prefer 6 months experience in the fire/water restoration industry (Technicians can be trained; Crew Chiefs must have prior experience)
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Valid driver’s license with reasonable driving record
- IICRC WRT certification preferred (not required)
- Must have a professional appearance, strong work ethic, and positive attitude
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must be willing to be on call as needed (including nights and weekends)
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs (occasionally up to 100 lbs with assistance)
- Experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction preferred
- Standing, walking, lifting, and climbing ladders for long periods
- Working at heights, in crawl spaces, or in confined areas
- Exposure to fumes, odors, and sometimes extreme conditions
- Occasional use of respirators for safety
- Standard:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (40 hours per week) - Frequent overtime: evenings, weekends, and on-call rotation
- Local travel required; occasional overnight/out-of-area travel may be expected
