Receptionist​/Scheduler PRN

Position Summary

Receptionist/Scheduler PRN, First Shift at Baptist Health Clinic in Corbin, KY. The role provides front‑desk, scheduling, and clerical support to patients and providers.

• Greet patients and provide appropriate assistance.
• Obtain consent forms and admission paperwork; inform clinicians of patient arrivals.
• Answer phones, relay messages, schedule appointments, and make reminder calls.
• Collect copayments and obtain required insurance authorizations and referrals.
• Maintain scheduling systems, enter physician orders, and access electronic medical records.
• Coordinate scheduling changes and communicate updates with providers and departments.
• Prepare performance improvement data for assigned programs.
• Perform additional clerical duties as requested.
• Participate in required training and support departmental operations.
• Adhere to Baptist Health policies, safety standards, infection prevention, and emergency preparedness procedures.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of related clerical, scheduling, customer service, or healthcare office experience.
