FT Corporate Security Agent (Corbin, KY) – Corbin, KY 40701 – $12.00 to $14.00 per hour – full time.

L4 Security and Consulting Group LLC is hiring a qualified Security Agent in the Corbin, KY area. The agency, owned and operated by former Kentucky law enforcement officers, provides security to a variety of clients including federal government, manufacturing facilities, schools, religious institutions, and retail sites.

• Protect property and lives
• Monitor entrance and egress of property
• Identify visitors and request appropriate documentation
• Guard against theft and maintain security
• Respond to alarms and calls of distress
• Complete accurate daily and incident reports
• Prevent prohibited vehicles from entering restricted areas
• Prevent access to unauthorized persons
• Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure operational use
• Regulate and monitor building systems
• Inspect windows and doors to ensure locks are in place and working
• Complete all required security logs
• Communicate effectively with client management, employees, and visitors

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Professionalism and ability to wear a uniform neatly and correctly
• Excellent customer service skills, verbally and in writing
• Alert and capable of handling escalated and crisis/emergency situations
• Ability to multi-task
• Operating a computer and other security devices
• Depending on client and state, ability to obtain required training and licensures

Requirements include, but are not limited to, standing and walking for long periods during a shift.
