Truck Driver CDL A Team

Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Team Driver in Corbin, KY — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

• Weekly Guarantee $1715 per week
• Team Miles Pay: $0.335 per mile with 4200+ miles per week
• Team Stops Pay: $7.00 per stop with 10–20 stops per week
• Drop and Hook Pay: $6.00 per drop/hook
• Safety Bonus: $250 four times a year, every quarter
• Shutdown Bonus: $2000 paid within first year in two installments
• Schedule:
  
  Monday to Friday, Saturday as needed
• Start time: open to AM or PM due to bid system

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs
• Load and unload freight or assist in loading/unloading of freight as required by the customer
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Class A CDL experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
• Experience:
  • 9 months within the past 3 years
  • or 2 years within the last 5 years
  • or 5 years within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures

• Medical, dental, and vision after 30 days
• 80 hours PTO in first year, available day 1 (use it or get paid for it)
