Job Type: Full-time, ongoing (Monday to Friday)

Barker Ross are recruiting experienced MIG Welder to join our client based in Corby. This is an excellent opportunity for ongoing, full-time work in a stable workshop environment.

The role would suit a competent MIG Welder who has completed professional, college, or apprenticeship training and is confident working from engineering drawings.

• 15.67 per hour

• Overtime paid  per hour

• Monday-Thursday: 08:00-17:00

• Friday: 08:00-16:30

• MIG welding mild steel from 1mm to 15mm

• Welding thin wall to thick wall sections

• Welding with and without jigs

• Producing water-tight welds

• Reading and working from engineering drawings

• Using hand and power tools

• Proven MIG welding experience

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• MIG welding stainless steel (training provided if required)
