North Northamptonshire £25.78 per hour (Umbrella) 3-Month Ongoing Contract 37 Hours per Week | Monday to Friday

A leading Local Authority is looking for an experienced Electrician to join their busy repairs and maintenance team on a 3-month ongoing contract.

Working across occupied and void social housing properties, you'll carry out a range of electrical repairs, remedial works, testing and inspection, helping to maintain safe, compliant homes for residents.

• Carry out electrical repairs and remedial works across occupied and void residential properties.
• Complete testing and inspection works in line with current regulations.
• Undertake minor rewiring works within void properties where required.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
• Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and health & safety legislation.
• Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota (1 week in every
  4).

• City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 (or equivalent).
• City & Guilds 2382 - 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Experience working within social housing, property maintenance or a similar environment.
• Competent carrying out testing and inspection works.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is desirable (mileage paid), although a company vehicle may be available.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently
