We're looking for an experienced HGV Technician, but we're also willing to consider general mechanics who are eager to learn and develop their skills. Hours:
52.5 hours per week | 7 - 5:30
Pay: £19.00 Per Hour

This is a hands-on role in a busy, well-equipped workshop where you'll be working on a wide variety of commercial vehicles. You'll use your expertise to carry out inspections, diagnose faults and keep our customers' vehicles safe, roadworthy and reliable.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:- Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs
- Diagnosing faults using modern diagnostic equipment
- Performing vehicle inspections and completing all necessary paperwork
- Attending roadside breakdowns when needed
- Working safely and efficiently to agreed timescales
We want someone who's skilled, reliable and takes real pride in a job well done. You'll enjoy working as part of a small, close-knit team and have a good, straightforward approach to communication and teamwork.
You’ll Ideally have:- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent experience) in HGV maintenance and repair
- A full clean driving licence
- A methodical, careful approach to your work
- Good timekeeping and flexibility for overtime when required
- Confidence following workshop processes and keeping paperwork accurate
- Strong communication skills (spoken and written)
- A forklift licence
- First Aid certificate
- Commercial class 1 or 2 licence (preferred but not essential)
