Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (30 min meal break) or Tuesday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (30 min meal break) (Day shift)

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

• Assess nutritional needs and develop individualized care plans for patients
• Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to implement nutrition interventions
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans to meet evolving clinical needs
• Provide evidence-based nutrition education to patients, families and staff
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes in the medical record with clarity and accuracy
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care

• Active Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required
• California licensure or eligibility to obtain state licensure preferred
• Clinical experience in acute care, long-term care or correctional healthcare is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
• Valid BLS/CPR certification if required by facility policies

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or related field (or equivalent) — completion of an accredited dietetics program preferred

• Clinical nutrition assessment and care planning
• Medical nutrition therapy for chronic and acute conditions
• Electronic medical record documentation
• Strong patient education and counseling skills
• Ability to work within institutional policies and multidisciplinary teams

This is a contracted assignment in Corcoran, CA, a gateway to California's Central Valley.
