Licensed Vocational NURSE, CF - CSP, Corcoran

Position Overview

The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide general nursing care at Corcoran State Prison, Kings County. This is a limited‑term position that may be extended or become permanent.

• Provide basic and technical general nursing care to patients in correctional health care settings.
• Deliver technical patient care under provider orders and the delegation of a Registered Nurse (RN) as directed.
• Support the care team for daily health‑care operations and communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare personnel.
• Ensure timely, appropriate, and cost‑effective use of health‑care resources by collaborating with physicians and other providers.
