Are you a Diesel Technician, Tractor Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, or Ag Equipment Technician looking for a stable, hands‑on opportunity? We’re hiring an experienced Diesel/Tractor Technician to join a well‑established agricultural operation in the Central Valley. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys diagnosing problems, turning wrenches, working on large equipment, and keeping machines running in the field.

You’ll work on a variety of tractors, agricultural equipment, harvest equipment, irrigation systems, pumps, and other diesel‑powered machinery.

• Agricultural tractors and farm equipment

• Electrical and computerized systems

• A/C systems
• Field-service repairs and preventative maintenance

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and engine-related issues.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on tractors and heavy equipment.
• Troubleshoot diesel and gas engines.
• Use diagnostic equipment, analyzers, and computer software to identify problems.
• Repair hydraulic, electrical, air, and A/C systems.
• Respond to equipment issues in the field and complete repairs efficiently.
• Maintain service records and document completed repairs.
• Follow all safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
• Work independently while communicating with supervisors and the maintenance team.
• Help keep critical agricultural equipment operating safely and efficiently.

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience working on diesel, agricultural, or heavy equipment preferred.
• Diesel technician training is a plus, but strong hands‑on experience will be considered.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to diagnose and repair equipment independently.
• Ability to work outdoors and travel to field locations when needed.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• A/C certification or experience is a plus.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, kneel, and work in various positions.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to reach above and below shoulder level.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to work in an agricultural/field environment and varying weather conditions.

• Direct-Hire position $22–$36/hour based on experience
