Superintendent – Commercial Construction | Bayne Development Group

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead on-site coordination for multiple construction projects. This role is responsible for overseeing all phases of construction, ensuring subcontractors, materials, and equipment are properly coordinated, and that projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

• Coordinate and supervise all on-site construction activities for ground-up projects.
• Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in alignment with the project critical path to ensure timely completion.
• Monitor daily construction progress to maintain schedule, quality, and budget objectives.
• Conduct quality control inspections and ensure strict adherence to project specifications.
• Enforce jobsite safety, health, and environmental compliance standards.
• Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions and assist with permitting or revision approvals.
• Lead weekly subcontractor coordination meetings and pre-construction meetings.
• Identify construction conflicts or scope gaps and communicate solutions with the project team.
• Review and manage RFIs, material submittals, and subcontractor scope compliance.
• Maintain accurate daily jobsite logs (Procore experience preferred but not required).
• Oversee punch list development and completion.
• Ensure jobsites remain clean, organized, secure, and properly opened/closed each day.
• Supervise work across multiple job sites as needed.

• Working knowledge of all aspects of ground-up construction.
• Strong scheduling, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Experience managing subcontractors and maintaining compliance with contract scopes.
• Ability to identify issues proactively and communicate effectively with project teams.
• Commitment to maintaining safe, efficient, and well-organized job sites.
